The Nanyan Airport Line of Zhengzhou Metro Line 2 starts from South Fourth Ring Station and ends at Zhengzhou South Station, with a total length of 4 1. 16km. The south extension of Metro Line 2 will be completed in two phases. The first bid section of the project is the shield tunnel section from South Fourth Ring Station to the east side of the airport station, with a line length of about 3 1.7km, and it is planned to open to traffic at the end of 20 16. The second bid section works from the shield well on the east side of the airport station to Zhengzhou South Station, with a line length of about 9.4 kilometers. It is planned to be completed and opened to traffic at the end of February 2008.
Zhengzhou metro vehicle facilities
The vehicles for the first phase of Zhengzhou Metro 1 Line are six B-cars. Each train has four bullet trains and two trailers, with a maximum passenger capacity of 1870 and a maximum operating speed of 80 kilometers per hour. The background color of subway vehicles is white, and the main color is China red. Line 2, like line 1, is also a B car, but the system has been improved: the air conditioner adopts variable frequency air conditioner, which is intelligent, energy-saving and environmentally friendly; The carriage adopts double floors to ensure sound insulation and noise reduction; Headlights adopt LED, which is maintenance-free and has long service life.
