Nanjing Xiaozhuang College is a full-time public undergraduate college jointly established by Jiangsu Province and Nanjing City. The school's predecessor was "Xiaozhuang Experimental Rural Normal School" founded by the great people's educator Mr. Tao Xingzhi in 1927, which is the birthplace of rural normal education in China. In 2000, Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing Institute of Education and Nanjing Xiaozhuang Normal School merged to form Nanjing Xiaozhuang College. 20 14 Nanjing Kindergarten Teachers College merged. The school has three campuses, Fangshan, Mochou and Xiaozhuang (Xingzhi Garden), which is the core area of Mr. Tao Xingzhi's original school and the birthplace and practice place of life education theory. The total campus area is nearly 1500 mu. The school has 15 professional colleges, involving 47 undergraduate enrollment majors in 9 disciplines including education, literature, history, economy, law, science, engineering, management and art, with more than 8000 full-time undergraduates/kloc-0 and 46 doctoral and master students.
