(1) hang it properly and remove dust in time.
Calligraphy and painting are exquisite works of art and must be hung for a certain period of time. It is not advisable to hide it at the bottom of the box, because people can't know the potential changes of calligraphy and painting in time, and it is too late to find the problem.
Therefore, the mounted calligraphy and painting should be hung at intervals. Pay attention to timely dust removal during the exhibition, because the environmental pollution is more serious now. For example, in the air of a big city in the north, the content of sulfur dioxide is 0.064 mg/m3, the daily average over-standard rate is 12%, the content of nitrogen oxides is 0.059 mg/m3, the total suspended particulate matter content is 14. 1%, and the daily average over-standard rate is 62.5%. Dust absorbs these harmful gases.
Generally speaking, the urban environment is dusted once a week and the rural environment is dusted once a month. Dust removal method: You can use the cold air of the hair dryer to make a 30-degree angle with the picture, and keep the distance from 0. 1 m to 0. 15 m to sweep from right to left, or use a feather duster to gently sweep the picture. Or use a vacuum cleaner with a low wind, scan the picture with a soft brush, and vacuum with a vacuum cleaner. Don't wipe the picture with a rag, because in this way, harmful dust will invade the lines of the drawing paper during the wiping process, causing long-term damage.
During the exhibition, you should pay attention to the humidity of the air. If it rains continuously and the air humidity is particularly high, you can put away the picture scroll first. Man-made changes to the small space environment, such as heating, humidification and perfuming, should be paid more attention to. For heating in winter, calligraphy and painting should keep a certain distance from the heater and chimney, and for cooling in summer, keep a long distance from the air inlet of air conditioner.
Light is the natural factor that has the greatest influence on painting, especially ultraviolet rays, which can transform and decompose the picture pigments and lead to changes in paper. Ultraviolet rays mainly come from sunlight, and incandescent bulbs and fluorescent tubes also emit a small amount of ultraviolet rays. Therefore, when hanging pictures, you should not be close to the window to avoid direct sunlight on the picture. Therefore, in the layout of the house, we should keep bulbs, fluorescent lamps, calligraphy and painting at a distance of more than one meter, and choose low-power light sources.
(2) The roll surface is placed properly.
After hanging for a period of time, in addition to the dust removal as mentioned above. Also observe whether the surface has changed. If there is mildew or moth-eaten, it should be sent to the cultural relics protection technical department for scientific protection. When rolling calligraphy and painting, loosen it first and then tighten it, then loosen it and then roll it, and then slowly rotate the shaft to tighten the picture scroll. Then tie it with picture tape, and the weight must be moderate. Too loose makes the picture loose and easy to fold. Too tight will leave a hard mark in the middle of the picture scroll, which will affect the overall beauty of the picture.
Hanging calligraphy and painting to make it work, the paper has to bear the drooping tensile stress and tension, which weakens the strength of the paper; Rolling makes calligraphy and painting in a rest state, and the pressure and tension are greatly reduced. Generally speaking, the exhibition time should not be too long. It can be exhibited twice a year for one to two months at a time.
(3) Science protects eternal glory
In order to make calligraphy and painting forever "youthful", there are strict requirements for the storage environment. The first is insect prevention, mildew prevention and fire prevention. Secondly, control and adjust the temperature and humidity.
Catfish is a wingless insect, which generally eats the surface of calligraphy and painting, especially endangering paste. The larvae of Bemisia tabaci do great harm to painting and calligraphy. They like to make holes in painting and calligraphy and hide themselves in the holes at the same time. Generally speaking, repellent is used to prevent insects in paintings and calligraphy. Commonly used drugs, such as sanitary balls, mothballs, benzene dichloride, etc., are white solids and are easy to volatilize. Among them, benzene dichloride has the strongest insecticidal ability, but people are often influenced by habits, and commercial sanitary balls are still the most commonly used.
For the storage environment, the painting and calligraphy cabinet or painting and calligraphy box should be sealed. Make the preservation environment relatively stable. Yangjiang lacquer suitcase is commonly used by the people. It is made of Chinese fir, covered with paper inside and outside, and painted with black wood paint to avoid light and moisture. Good sealing performance. At present, safe and other appliances with good sealing performance are used wherever conditions permit.
No matter what kind of cabinet you use, you should put the calligraphy and painting in the air, that is, put things like wooden strips in the air, leave a certain space below to put desiccant, insect repellent and mildew inhibitor, and then put the calligraphy and painting on the wooden strips. For safety reasons, these reagents should be wrapped in cloth or paper with good air permeability. If you want to carry calligraphy and painting, don't carry the cabinet directly. Instead, we should open the cupboard, take out the medicine, put the calligraphy and painting in it and put it in a fixed place, so that the calligraphy and painting will not touch each other in the box. When you arrive at a new place, put the protective medicine back and seal it for protection.
According to a large number of experiments, the most suitable storage temperature of calligraphy and painting is 14℃ to 18℃, and the most suitable relative humidity is 50% to 60%. This condition is not conducive to the growth and reproduction of microorganisms and molds. To control humidity, mainly use desiccant to change color silica gel or anhydrous calcium chloride. If the temperature is controlled, the indoor temperature can be adjusted by air conditioning.
The above are some routine measures to protect calligraphy and painting, and the specific protection measures need Tibetan friends to be based on long-term collection experience. According to the actual situation of calligraphy and painting, carefully observe, analyze and summarize.
