The two schools merged. According to official website's inquiry of Xixiangtang Vocational and Technical College, Xixiangtang Vocational and Technical College is located in the library of the east campus of Guangxi University and the south campus of the College of Resources and Environment. Later, the two campuses merged, so Xixiangtang Vocational and Technical College is Guangxi University. Guangxi University, called Xida for short, is located in Nanning, Guangxi, People's Republic of China (PRC). Formerly known as the provincial Guangxi University, it was jointly established by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Education. 1999 was rated as the national "2 1 1 project" key construction university.
