Guangdong University of Finance and Economics adopts the "Academic Misconduct Detection System for Dissertations" developed by China Knowledge Network, takes the online publication database of academic documents in China as the full-text comparison database, and takes the total text repetition rate as the main detection index to detect the text repetition rate in dissertations. The overlapping part of the thesis signed by the first author and the dissertation published by the applicant is not included in the total text repetition rate.

The initial inspection fee is paid by the school, and the re-inspection fee is borne by the tutor and the applicant. If the applicant disagrees with the test results of the system, the academic degree office will invite experts to identify the test results or review the test results in other forms; If the applicant is still dissatisfied with the evaluation results, it should be submitted to the academic Committee of the school for arbitration.
