Beijiao Vocational and Technical School, formerly known as Shunde Beijiao Lintou Vocational Middle School, was founded in 1984 and was named as the key vocational and technical school in Guangdong Province in 1999. In 2003, a new campus was built in different places, and the school intensively cultivated it. The school was renamed Northern Suburb Vocational and Technical School, and passed the evaluation of national key secondary vocational schools in that year. The school is a national key secondary vocational school, a civilized school in Foshan and a first-class school in Shunde. The campus is lush and the environment is elegant. The campus covers an area of 152 mu, with a building area of 46,000 square meters. At present, the school has 39 full-time classes with more than 2,500 students and more than 200 faculty members. The school has fully functional office buildings, teaching buildings, adult education buildings, training buildings, libraries, gymnasiums and other places, and has 39 well-equipped practice and laboratory fields, including multimedia rooms, computer rooms, numerical control rooms, lathe rooms, CAD and CAM rooms, intelligent electronic training rooms, refrigeration laboratories, motor laboratories, electrical automation rooms, household appliances rooms, computerized accounting rooms and so on, which are rich in resources. School leaders are pragmatic and enterprising. Teachers have high quality and strong fighting capacity. There are 202 faculty members, 85 middle and senior teachers, 75 professional teachers and 4 graduate students. Twenty-two people have participated in the national and provincial backbone teacher training, and 17 people hold various appraiser certificates and special operation training teacher qualification certificates.
