Collins corpus is one of the three most famous corpora in the world at present. English Bank is a part of COBUILD Corpus established by Birmingham University and Harper Collins Publishing House. At present, it is fixed at the scale of 450 million words and can be searched online.

Collins English Corpus was established in 1980s under the guidance of Professor John Sinclair. It is a large-scale corpus mainly used for lexicography. At present, Haper Collins Publishing House has compiled and published several influential English dictionaries based on this corpus.
