The library of Nanjing Institute of Physical Education was founded in 1958. 1999, the new library with a building area of 5 100 square meters was completed and put into use. By 20021,the library had more than 340,000 books, including nearly 80,000 sports books.

The library currently has five lending rooms, two intensive stacks and two study rooms, providing 300 reading seats. The weekly opening time is 90 hours, which better meets the needs of readers for borrowing books and self-study.

The College subscribes to more than 200 kinds of professional academic journals and 25 important electronic literature databases such as China HowNet, Wanfang Database and Superstar Digital Books.
