1952 After the adjustment of departments, the branch of Shima Street in the library was cancelled and the site of Fu Jen Catholic University was added. From 1954 to 1959, due to the location of the school, the library is divided into three places: the headquarters of Xinhua South Street School outside Heping Gate; Fu Jen Catholic University Branch; North taipingzhuang campus.

Due to the protection of teachers and library staff, the library has basically not suffered losses. After 1973, the library reopened and gradually improved.
65438-0989 was invested by the State Education Commission, donated by Sir Run Run Run Shaw, a Hong Kong compatriot, and the school cooperated with its own funds to build a new library.
