The Historical Evolution of National Library Press
National Library Press, formerly known as Bibliographic Literature Publishing House, was established in 1979. 1996 changed its name to Beijing library publishing house, and changed its name to its present name in 2008. Our agency is a central-level publishing house headed by the Ministry of Culture and sponsored by the National Library. In August 2009, the General Administration of Press and Publication rated the first operating book publishing unit as a first-class publishing house and awarded it the title of "Top 100 National Book Publishing Units".
