Kaifeng Museum, located on the beautiful Baogong Lake, is a local comprehensive museum integrating exhibition, cultural relics collection, cultural relics protection, scientific research, publicity and education. More than 80,000 pieces of cultural relics, especially ceramics, bronzes, calligraphy, paintings and stone carvings, were awarded the national second-class museum in 2008. Its rich collection and exquisite quality enjoy a high reputation in the whole province and even the whole country. It has been awarded the honorary titles of "National Key Museum", "Demonstration Base of Patriotic Education in Henan Province" and "Model of Municipal Civilized Units".

Kaifeng Museum has a long history. Since the establishment of 1962, through the unremitting efforts of museum people, a professional team with high professional level and strong academic research ability has gradually formed. In terms of exhibitions, more than 30 kinds of exhibitions are held every year, and there are cooperation with major museums in China, such as the Palace Museum, the Capital Museum and the Hainan Provincial Museum. Some special collections, such as New Year pictures, have also been exhibited in the United States, Japan, Canada, Hong Kong and Macao, and won unanimous praise from domestic and foreign audiences.

Kaifeng * * * five pavilions include museums, planning pavilions, art galleries, libraries and cultural centers (located at the intersection of Ryan Avenue and Fifth Avenue, and can be reached by bus No.56 and No.58).

The normal opening hours of the five libraries are from 9: 00 am to 9: 00 pm 17:00 pm, and there is no rest at noon. Invoicing will stop at 16:00 in the afternoon, and visitors will pass through the customs at 16:00 in the afternoon and close at 17:00. Closed on Mondays (except statutory holidays).
