Since 1987, the library has successively established the foreign language literature information center of Inner Mongolia universities, the Mongolian literature information center of the National Education Department, the life science literature information center of Inner Mongolia University and the mathematical science literature information center of Inner Mongolia University, among which the Mongolian literature information center of the National Education Department is one of the sixteen literature information centers of national key universities directly under the Ministry of Education. At present, the Library of Inner Mongolia University is a member of the Library and Information Work Committee of the Ministry of Education, a director of library society of china, and a member of China University Library &; Information system (CALIS Center for short) is a B-level member library of the joint cataloging project. In 2005, CALIS Inner Mongolia Literature Information Service Center, one of the five provincial centers in China/KLOC-0, was established in the library. In the same year, the archives was promoted to a super-class museum and was rated as an excellent unit for utilization evaluation by the autonomous region. In 2006, Calis Western Training Center was established in the library to provide services for five western provinces. In 2007, the "Sci-tech Novelty Retrieval Workstation of the Ministry of Education (L23)" was established, becoming the only ministerial-level Sci-tech Novelty Retrieval Station in the autonomous region.
