The First People's Hospital of Xincai County stripped off the office tile house in the backyard of the hospital and dug deep into the foundation to prepare for Gai Lou. When excavating the foundation, two ancient wells in Han Dynasty and two ancient tombs in Song Dynasty were excavated.

After receiving the report from Xincai County, the Cultural Relics and Archaeology Management Office of Zhumadian Cultural Bureau quickly dispatched an archaeological team to excavate the underground cultural relics there. By yesterday afternoon, the archaeological excavation had ended. Two broken pottery pots of the Han Dynasty were excavated in the ancient well, and a broken porcelain bowl of the Song Dynasty was excavated in the ancient tomb. Archaeologists told reporters that the ancient wells in the Han Dynasty and the ancient tombs in the Song Dynasty have been stolen many times in history. Although there are not many unearthed cultural relics, they are of great value for studying the history and culture of Xincai County.
