Wenzhou University is a local comprehensive university. Its history can be traced back to Wenzhou Normal School founded by Mr. Huang Xiangchu, a famous patriotic homesick person in modern Wenzhou. 1987 liters Wenzhou Normal University. Wenzhou Education College, Wenzhou Preschool Normal School, Ruian Normal School and Pingyang Normal School were successively merged into Wenzhou Normal College.
