When I was a child, there were many comic books, there should be dozens, and there were quite a few at that time. In my opinion, it is like a library. So I learned to sort out books, classify, number and catalogue comic books like a library.
It takes a lot of time to organize comic books. When finished, the spine and cover will be marked with special symbols and numbers to indicate their categories and numbers. Looking at these comic books neatly arranged on the bookshelf, I feel very happy and have a sense of accomplishment.
But it is always not long before I am dissatisfied with these symbols and numbers, or I think the classification is not accurate enough. Should I put them in? Abroad? This big category, but put it in? Movies? I went in. Of course, this cartoon is indeed a foreign film. What do you think it is? Movies? It fits, but now you think it should be put? Abroad? . Another example is a popular science fairy tale. Should I play? Popular science? Or? Fairy tales? ; Should a writer's autobiography be published? Literature? Or? History? This kind of thing is not completely satisfactory every time, and the result will be rearranged soon. Repeatedly, until later, the book was full of symbols and numbers, and I still enjoyed it.
My old comic book is still there, because my appearance has been greatly reduced, and it may be worthless. However, I have no regrets. Think about it, no amount of money can buy the thinking and logic training you get by reading and studying these books carefully.
I am very grateful to my parents for giving me enough personal space. At that time, I had many personal belongings, including my own bookshelves and drawers, from dolls to candy paper, to homemade paper-cuts, embroidery, bookmarks and so on. I had everything that children could collect at that time. Collecting and managing these projects is essentially similar to managing those comic books.
My parents never care about the garbage in my drawer and never touch it. I have my whole world. Often immersed in this world, fiddling with the treasures in the drawer.
I remember that at one time, it was popular for friends to collect candy paper. Although we didn't have many opportunities to eat sugar at that time, we were no strangers to candy paper. Everyone has a book, which contains candy paper, cellophane (transparent plastic paper) and paper (usually covered with wax). Paper candy paper needs to be flattened under the glass plate, and plastic candy paper needs to be put into water first. After softening, it will wrinkle and spread out, then pick it up and lay it flat on clean glass. Naturally dried, it will be as flat as new and naturally rolled in the palm of your hand, which is also one of the criteria for testing whether the candy paper is advanced or not.
Take care of the candy paper to be sandwiched in the book, one is to keep it flat, and the other is to facilitate storage and display.
In their free time, everyone takes out their books and shows their candy wrappers. After some appreciation and showing off, there is often a deal. If you have a crush on the other person's candy paper, and the other person happens to have a crush on yours, then it's a deal, as long as both parties feel that the value is similar. For example, cellophane for cellophane, Shanghai cellophane for Shanghai cellophane, hard candy for hard candy, soft candy for soft candy, one piece? Golden monkey? Change to five Pineapple? .
Girls collect candy paper, and boys collect cigarette labels, that is, cigarette cases, which are as obsessed as girls.
Although it was an era of material scarcity, children still got endless fun from collecting. These junk things are meaningless to adults, but precious to children. They not only let children learn aesthetics, induction and repair, but also let children have concepts such as property rights, value and exchange, and become a bridge for children's social relations.
This is probably the meaning of collection for children's growth. Because of this, there is not a child who has never been fascinated by collection. My son was obsessed with four-wheel drive (toys) for a while when he was a child. He received a large box of various colors and models. As long as you give him change, he immediately wants to buy a car. Later, I was not interested in cars and fell in love with yo-yos. Then the yo-yo was not interested, and actually liked the empty shelf after the correction tape was used up, full of boxes.
What's the use of these stupid things? Of course it works. Existence is reasonable. As long as the child likes it, you respect him, and the meaning is naturally in it.
