To read the books and periodicals in the library, we must search the bibliography (or card catalogue) in our OPAC and send a request (or submit a book purchase form), and the staff will pick up the books and periodicals. Those who fail to bring books and periodicals to the cashier shall be fined 0.30 yuan/copy. Books and periodicals in the library must be returned on the same day, and a fine of 5 yuan/volume/day will be imposed for overdue return.
To copy books and periodicals, you must fill in the copy application form and promise to abide by the copyright law, go through the copy formalities at the designated place, and return it immediately after copying.
Books and periodicals in the reading room shall not be taken out of the room without permission, and those who take books and periodicals out of the room without permission shall be treated as theft. Instructions for Borrowing Books To borrow books, you must use your national library reader card/second-generation ID card with borrowing function (within the validity period, the arrears in the card shall not exceed 5 yuan).
Chinese books are limited to 3 volumes at a time, and 3 CDs attached with the book can be renewed 1 time, and the renewal period is 3 1 day (that is, 3 1 day is calculated from the execution date of the renewal operation). Foreign language books are limited to three books at a time, with a loan period of 3 1 day, and no renewal service is provided.
To borrow foreign books in the library, you must first send a borrowing request on OPAC of our library, or use the card catalogue to find the book call number, and the staff will come to pick up the books.
When borrowing books, carefully check whether there are pages missing, depicting, defacing, etc. If found, it should be declared immediately, and the staff should be sealed. When returning, if it is found that there is any defacement without the seal of the staff, it shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions in the Measures for Illegal Handling.
If the required Chinese books have been checked out, you can make an appointment online and borrow books from the library within 7 days after the book is published. If you don't go through the formalities of borrowing books within the time limit, the reservation will automatically become invalid after 7 days, and you need to pay a penalty of 0.30 yuan per book.
Borrowed books and periodicals must be returned on schedule, and overdue use fees must be paid for overdue return: 0.30 yuan/volume/day for Chinese books; Foreign language books are 0.50 yuan/volume/day.
If the library doesn't have the required books and periodicals, it can go through the interlibrary loan procedures at the document supply center and pay the corresponding fees.

Readers are required to check the book reservation at any time. When the status is "books to be borrowed", you must borrow books from the library within 7 days. After 7 days, the reservation will automatically become invalid, and a penalty of 0.30 yuan per book must be paid. If the book fetching date is outside the interest stage of the reservation, the interest stage of the reservation is the book fetching end date.

6. Anyone who uses the digital resource service of the library will be deemed to agree to abide by the above provisions. In case of violation of the above provisions, the staff of the National Library will give a warning, stop issuing readers' cards for three months, stop issuing readers' cards for half a year, and refuse to serve, depending on the seriousness of the case.
If the circumstances are serious and touch the law, the offender will be investigated for legal responsibility according to law. At the same time, all the legal consequences caused by the violation will be borne by the violator, causing adverse effects or any other losses to the National Library. The National Library will reserve the right to investigate the responsible person according to law.

Without permission, books that are restricted to reading in the library, such as the basic stacks, must be returned on the same day and taken out of the library, and 5 yuan will be fined for each book every day.

The original foreign language books imported shall be compensated according to the actual value of 1-5 times, plus 6 yuan processing fee.
Complete sets of multi-volume books, of which 1 or several volumes are lost, shall be compensated according to the full set price, and no other volumes shall be claimed after compensation. Each volume has a unit price, and if there are multiple volumes, compensation shall be made according to the corresponding multiple of the price of a single volume.

Books and periodicals that are not clearly marked shall be compensated with reference to the prices of similar books and periodicals.
After paying the compensation, the reader can retrieve the original documents and claim the compensation amount with the original compensation receipt. However, the overdue use fee shall be paid from the date of payment of compensation to the date of return of documents.
