The predecessor of the College of Literature is the Normal Department of Four-District Simple Normal School, which was founded in 1936. Four-District Normal School is a school that trains anti-Japanese cadres under the guidance of the director of the Central Changjiang Bureau and led by our party. It has trained a large number of military and political talents for the party and is known as "Kangda in the South of the Yangtze River".
After more than 70 years of school practice, the College of Liberal Arts has now formed a well-structured and powerful faculty. At present, there are 58 full-time teachers, including professors 1 1, 27 associate professors, and teachers with high titles account for 66%. There are 35 teachers with doctoral and master's degrees, accounting for 60%.
