The basic brushwork of a brush is to start from scratch, then stroke and finally close the pen. Pen collection is the treatment of the pen tip when the stroke ends and leaves the paper. It is also important to collect pens, so you must not scribble.

Starting a pen is the beginning of a stroke, and the ways of starting a pen can be roughly divided into: exposure and hiding. There are two kinds of exposure, one is homeopathic method, and the other is cut-in method.

Homeopathic method: the pen tip starts to write along the stroke direction, which is relatively simple and is mostly used for writing running script and lower case letters.

Cut-in method: draw a vertical pen horizontally and draw a horizontal pen vertically.
