What is the standard workload of a primary and secondary school teacher? How can we reflect more work and more pay?
I used to be in charge of teaching business in a township junior high school, making the workload of teachers in various subjects and teaching rewards and punishments.

I. Basic information of the school

There are about 1500 students and 130 teachers in 24 classes, and the results of the senior high school entrance examination rank among the top three in rural junior high schools in the county. Second, the basic workload of each major

1. General workload of senior high school entrance examination subjects

Chinese (1 class): 8 regular classes and 3 morning classes;

English (1 class): 6 classes, 3 classes in the morning and 2 classes in the evening;

Mathematics (1 class): 6 classes in ordinary class and 4 classes in self-taught examination;

Physics (2 classes): 8 classes in ordinary classes and 4 classes in self-taught exams;

Chemistry (2 classes): 6 classes and 4 classes in the evening;

Taofa (3 classes): 9 classes in ordinary classes and 3 classes in self-taught exams;

History (3 classes) has 9 regular classes and 3 evening self-study classes.

2. General workload of non-senior high school entrance examination subjects

Geography and biology (6 lessons): 12 lessons;

Physical education class (lesson 6): 12;

Music and information technology (16): 16.

Senior high school entrance examination teachers have many classes, heavy responsibilities, great pressure and relatively few class hours.

3. The class situation of the members of the school team at that time.

Principal: No classes; Party branch secretary: two classes and six roads.

Vice president of business: graduating class Chinese 1 class; Vice president of political education: law courses in two classes of graduating class; Vice President of Logistics: 8 IT courses.

Academic director and political education director: normal workload of teachers; Director of Logistics: irreplaceable.

Third, arrange several links of teaching tasks.

The first episode: Teacher China urges to teach other subjects.

Every year, a Chinese teacher greets me in advance and doesn't want to teach Chinese any more. As a Chinese teacher myself, I know that compared with other subjects, the teaching content is complicated, the task of composition wholesale is heavy, and it is difficult to improve students' grades. So I ignored all such requests, because I knew that once I started, few teachers would be willing to teach Chinese in the future.

The second episode: Teaching assistants ask to teach some minor subjects in the senior high school entrance examination, such as music and information technology teachers, and they will ask for advice. A music teacher in the school, who has been teaching for almost 20 years, is still a second-class title. Because there was no teaching competition in music, he was marginalized at the best time. Every time he declares his professional title, his score is always lower.

He has no choice but to apply for teaching Chinese. He taught Chinese for three years and finally won the first prize.

In addition, when the school rewards teachers, it mainly rewards the subject teachers in the senior high school entrance examination, and the bonus for minor teachers is often less.

Episode 3: Several special-grade teachers have been unable to arrange teaching work. One is the lover of township leaders. When I went to school and went to work that year, I greeted her and said that her main job was to take good care of her leadership life. The school specially set up a laboratory administrator position for her. One is the logistics director. He was hand-picked by the principal and the only player who didn't change the principal. The headmaster said that he was busy with infrastructure construction and student canteen work, and did not arrange teaching tasks.

There are also several teachers in their fifties who have evaluated senior titles. They proposed that they could no longer stand on the podium for physical reasons and asked to be campus security guards or dormitory administrators. Usually, their request must be approved.

Fourth, schools should pay more attention to the teaching effect and change "more work and more gains" into "more gains". The workload can only prove the efforts of a teacher, not the quality of teaching. Teachers' teaching level is not high, and the more classes they teach, the more serious the consequences will be.

My opinion is to ensure the basic workload of each teacher, but I don't advocate multi-generation classes. Therefore, there was little difference in the personal workload of school teachers at that time, and the teaching tasks were relatively balanced. In this way, schools can focus on teaching achievements when formulating teaching incentive measures.

1. Take the average test scores of students at the same level for five consecutive years as the standard, and reward them according to the scores beyond the standard line. In this way, students and teachers at the same level have the opportunity to win prizes, which avoids internal competition and is conducive to teachers' teaching cooperation.

2. Reward award-winning teachers such as high-quality courses, student competition counseling and papers.

3. Excellent teachers in the county will be rewarded according to the results of the senior high school entrance examination, and bonuses will be distributed to subject teachers according to the number of key high schools and ordinary high schools.

The above is what I did and felt when I was in charge of school teaching. I wanted to finish my work perfectly, but in fact I didn't. Some teachers are quite picky. But I am still very satisfied with the recognition of most teachers.
