Euclid Mathematics Competition awards are set as follows:

Euclid mathematics

The duration of the competition is 2.5 hours, the total score of the competition is 100, 10 questions, and the value of each question is 10 points. Topic type: short answer, complete answer. Topic difficulty: Most of the topics are math problems in senior three, and the last few are math problems in high numbers, challenging students who are good at math.

Calculators can be used, most of them can be used, except those with the following functions: network function, communication function with other devices, storage function, computer algebra system, dynamic geometry software.

Write down the main points:

Euclid * * * 10 questions (no multiple-choice questions), each with 2 ~ 3 small questions. Some topics only need to write the final answer, some topics need to write the calculation process, and some topics need to write the complete proof process. The grading standard is not only based on whether the final result is correct or not, but also on the steps, ideas and skills of answering questions. If the answer steps or methods are too scattered, even if the final result is correct, full marks will not be given.

Award setting of Euclid mathematics competition

Individual awards:-Certificate of Excellence: Students who rank in the top 25% of the global contestants can get certificates-Competition medals: Champion awarded by CEMC to each school-honor roll.

High-scoring players from official, unofficial and international regions in Canada will be nominated in the honor list of each region-plaque: the top five official players will receive a bonus of 500 Canadian dollars in addition to medals-and the top 6- 15 official players in Canada will receive a bonus of 200 Canadian dollars.

Team Award:-The sum of the scores of the top three players in Canada can be rated as the third prize: district, province and country. Canadian schools can evaluate Canadian champion plaques, provincial champion plaques and regional champion certificates. Overseas schools will also have honor lists and rankings.
