The circular pointed out that "Hope Cup Mathematics" held a competition in violation of regulations, and "Hope Cup Mathematics" was originally named "Hope Cup", and its enrollment was publicized through official accounts of Douban, Xiaohongshu, Zhihu and WeChat.

After investigation, it was found that the related competitions named "Hope Mathematics" and "Hope Cup" such as "Hope Mathematics Summit vs International Elite Challenge", "Hope Mathematics Summit Challenge Camp Competition" and "Hope Youth Club" were held illegally by enterprises such as Comet Sea Technology Co., Ltd., and the competitions held violated the National Measures for the Administration of Primary and Secondary School Competitions. At present, the competition has been banned according to law.
