Practical method of floor tile repair
Many people use floor tiles at home. When it was first laid, it was really beautiful, bright and seamless, flat and unified. But after using it for a long time, you will find that it may not be 100% when decorating, or it may be all kinds of casual damage. The floor tiles at home will be empty, loose, and even mortar will fall off, and there will be cracks on the surface of the floor tiles. At this time, it is necessary to repair the floor tiles. If you don't want to hire outside professionals directly, you can take a look at the following practical ways to do it yourself.

Corner depression

If you find an empty drum on the edge of the tile, you can water the empty drum on the edge (break the gap between the tiles with a small shovel, and then fill the gap with cement, and the empty drum will automatically suck in until it is filled and solidified) to avoid overall replacement.

Local empty drum

There are several local depressions in the wall and floor tiles. If it does not affect the installation of cabinets, mirror cabinets, showers, water heaters and other furniture appliances, it can be ignored. However, if the installation and daily life are affected, it is suggested that these local tiles be knocked out and re-paved.

2/3 area of empty drum

It is suggested that it be removed and re-paved. At this time, the adhesive used for paving is particularly important. If the tile area is small, you can use beneficial cement, which is more cohesive than cement. If a tile sticks to a flat surface, tile adhesive/tile adhesive can be used. If the area is small and there are many tiles, it is recommended to use beneficial cement instead of cement.

Mortar is not loose and does not fall off.

If the mortar is not loose, but the tile falls off, you can scrape the mortar adhered on the back and around the tile first, then mix a little cement with 107 glue and stir it into a paste, evenly coat a thin layer on the back of the tile, and then press the tile tightly to stick it.

The mortar has peeled off.

If the mortar falls off together with the ceramic tile, it is necessary to gently chisel out some pits on the original foundation surface, and then re-paste the mortar mixed with 107 glue. After brushing a layer on the foundation surface, press the fallen tiles upward until the mortar hardens. It should be noted that if the tiles only partially fall off, never pound the mortar on the foundation surface to prevent the original solid bricks around from shaking.

Cracks can be covered with tile paste.

For the first time, demanding users often use ceramic tile paste as joint filler, which can produce almost the same visual effect as the surface of ceramic tile, and multi-color is hard and wear-resistant, so it can also be used to repair obvious cracks and cover up.

Hard objects are damaged by toner.

When the surface of ceramic tile is damaged by careless hard objects, such as scratches, if it is too much trouble to replace ceramic tile or if you can't find the same style of ceramic tile, you can use marble glue and curing agent, adjust it to a similar color with toner, fill it in the vacancy on the ceramic surface, and then polish it after hardening, but this may lead to different degrees of color difference.

It is suggested that the cracks in floor tiles should be broken.

If the damage of the brick is so serious that cracks appear, it is suggested to replace the old brick directly, and be careful when chiseling the brick. It is suggested that professional workers should be invited first, and then the same brick should be glued, with the best effect.

If the floor tiles of the whole floor are damaged as mentioned above, if you don't repair them, it's easy to find the damaged place and it's ugly. In the past, old people often said that the clothes they wore would be mended for another three years. In fact, as a floor tile, once it is damaged, it is hard to say that it will be completely eradicated and re-laid. So simple "sewing" can help you make the floor tiles in your home look brand-new and make your home look brand-new. Well, that's it. Have you learned everything?
