Calculation formula of circular arc
The calculation formula of circular arc is as follows:

Arc length of (1) arc:

(R= radius, n= absolute value of arc angle)

(2) Sector area:

(L= arc length of arc, R= radius)

Extended data:

The part between any two points on a circle is called an arc. Maths is taught in junior high school and senior high school. Two endpoints of any diameter of a circle divide the circle into two arcs. Those larger than a semicircle are called optimal arcs, and those smaller than a semicircle are called suboptimal arcs.

An arc is represented by the symbol ⌒. For example, arcs with endpoints A and B are pronounced as arcs AB or AB. An arc larger than a semicircle is called an upper arc, and an arc smaller than a semicircle is called a lower arc. The degree of arc refers to the degree of the central angle of the arc. ?

A semicircle is also an arc, and a straight line connecting two points AB is a chord AB. A semicircle is neither a bad arc nor a good arc, and it is a boundary to distinguish a bad arc from a good arc.

Structural arc

Circle can be said to be a very common figure in geometric figures. Many curve problems can be derived from the circle, and the arc is the simplest one. We can easily make a circle with the geometric sketchpad tool, or we can construct an arc on the circle with the geometric sketchpad, that is, construct an arc.
