Reading aloud is the most important reading method, which can not only deepen the understanding of the text, but also cultivate interest, language sense and aesthetic feeling. After learning the lesson of "opening the green textbook of nature", the students left a deep impression on the vibrant nature. So I assigned this homework: after I got home, I practiced reading the text with emotion, accompanied my reading with a piece of music, and prepared to hold a reading contest with music.
Second, do a handwritten newspaper.
Handwritten newspaper is a good way to test students' comprehensive ability, and it is also a stage for students to show their talents. For example, in order to enhance students' awareness of environmental protection, after teaching a unit of Seth Caidas Falls in grade four, I designed an assignment: on the basis of understanding the text, I searched for information, and with the theme of "protecting the earth", a four-person group cooperated to run a handwritten newspaper. Although their manuscripts may not be perfect, I can see their thirst for knowledge and sense of cooperation.
Third, play a textbook drama.
For texts with strong storyline or action-oriented scene description, students can be arranged to form a small drama club voluntarily to produce a textbook-style drama. For example, after teaching the lesson of Qi Huangyang in the fourth grade, I divided the students into 10 groups according to their home addresses, and then arranged for them to go back to play the textbook drama. When the students write and perform the plays in the textbooks, I am impressed by their abilities. They can choose the right person to perform according to the role. The language, movements, psychology and demeanor of the characters are quite in place, and the content of the story is imaginative and continuous. Although this assignment takes a lot of effort, students like to organize textbooks and plays and are happy to finish it.
