Li Yupei (1938), a native of Huangxian County, Shandong Province, is a professor in the Department of Mathematics of Capital Normal University and a director of Beijing Science Popularization Association. Li Yupei was awarded the title of "Excellent Teacher in Beijing" twice. 1990 was awarded the title of "Excellent Popular Science Writer since the founding of the People's Republic of China" by the Chinese Popular Science Writers Association. 1977 began to engage in the creation of popular mathematics, and published more than 100 works, about100,000 words.
