The 3-minute math story is as follows:

Story title: Little Rabbit's Mathematical Journey.

Part I: Understanding Numbers.

In a beautiful forest, there lived three little rabbits. They are white, black and gray. They decided to go to the other side of the forest together to look for delicious carrots.

They crossed the mountains and finally came to the other side of the forest. However, things are not as simple as they think. In order to find carrots, they need to solve a math problem.

The problem is to find nine carrots, two of which are red and seven are yellow. They need to find out how many carrots there are in each color.

Rabbits start counting: 1, 2, 3 ... They found two red carrots and seven yellow carrots.

Through this simple counting activity, rabbits realized the importance of numbers and learned how to distinguish different quantities.

Part two: shape and space.

After solving the number problem, the rabbits moved on. But they soon discovered a new problem: a carrot field was blocked by a big stone.

In order to get carrots, they need to find a way to move stones. At this time, they noticed that the stone was shaped like a cuboid.

Rabbits began to think that if they pushed the stone aside, they could get carrots. So they decided to push this cuboid stone together.

After some efforts, the rabbits successfully removed the stone and got delicious carrots. Through this activity, they realized the importance of shape and space.

Part III: Simple addition and subtraction.

Rabbits are ready to go home with delicious carrots. They began to count how many carrots they found.

Through previous study, they already know that 2 plus 7 equals 9. So they came to the conclusion that they found nine carrots themselves.

This simple addition and subtraction operation made rabbits understand the application of mathematics in daily life. They began to realize that mathematics is not only knowledge in books, but also a tool to solve practical problems.

The role of mathematical stories:

1. Stimulate students' interest in learning: Math short stories can help students better understand mathematical concepts and algorithms, and at the same time attract students' attention through interesting storylines and improve students' interest in math learning. These stories can be presented through examples in life or mathematical problems in history, which is easier for students to understand and accept.

2. Cultivate logical thinking: Mathematical stories can not only help students master mathematical knowledge, but also cultivate students' logical thinking and problem-solving ability. In the story, students need to understand the story, analyze problems and find solutions, all of which need them to use logical thinking to complete. Through continuous practice and accumulated experience, students' logical thinking and problem-solving ability can be improved.

3. Enhance emotional experience: Mathematical stories can also enhance students' emotional experience. In the process of learning, students need to face all kinds of challenges and difficulties, and mathematical stories can provide support and encouragement for students to help them overcome difficulties and succeed. This positive emotional experience can enhance students' self-confidence and learning motivation and promote their all-round development.
