Public subjects such as ideological and political theory, foreign languages, college mathematics, etc. are put forward by the whole country, and specialized courses are mainly put forward by the enrollment units themselves (joining the national unified examination of schools). Selection requirements vary with different levels, regions, disciplines and majors. The national line for postgraduate entrance examination is divided into two categories: A and B, in which the A line is implemented in one category and the B line is implemented in the second category.
The first district includes: Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Chongqing, Sichuan and Shaanxi. The second district includes Inner Mongolia, Guangxi, Hainan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia and Xinjiang.
