Reflections on the teaching of finding rectangles in small classes
In the teaching of this course, I also encountered some problems, which triggered my thinking:

1. Try to make students' mathematical language accurate.

When looking for rectangles and squares in life, students say that math books are rectangular and classroom doors are rectangular ... In fact, math books and doors ... and other objects are cuboids, and one side can be said to be rectangular. At this time, should students keep their original vague understanding, or gradually guide them to a correct understanding? Think about it, although students are young, they are very flexible, so they should be educated with standardized mathematical language from an early age.

2. Care for everyone and highlight the advantages of small class teaching.

The teaching capacity of this class is relatively large, and group cooperative learning takes up relatively more time. By throwing difficult problems to good students, some time is saved. However, because we organize small class teaching, every student should get more attention. To really care about everyone, teachers should give students more trust. Don't just let the so-called top students answer difficult questions. Children who need help in their studies answer extremely simple questions. This is a mindset that teachers understand students. In fact, every child should have an equal opportunity to listen.
