The majors that don't need to take the math test for the postgraduate entrance examination are Master of Law, Master of Business Administration, Chinese Language and Literature, History, Philosophy, Journalism, Communication, Broadcasting Host, Interview Editor, Art, Library Management, Labor and Social Security, Law, Sociology, Fashion Design and Industrial Design (Art).

There are also majors that look at school policies: decoration design, medicine, biological sciences, administration, psychology (statistics are needed in applied psychology), English (some schools need scientific English), and landscape design (mainly agricultural schools).
