Alias of the Qiu Chengtong Prize in Mathematics
The Qiu Chengtong Prize in Mathematics, also known as the Qiu Chengtong Prize in Middle School Mathematics, was initiated by Qiu Chengtong, a famous mathematician in China, a member of the American Academy of Sciences and a professor of mathematics at Harvard University. Since 2008, it has been open to Chinese middle school students around the world. This award is very different from the Olympic competition.

On June 5438+February 65438+February 9, 2007, the signing ceremony and press conference of "Qiu Chengtong Middle School Mathematics Award" was held in Hangzhou during the 4th China Mathematicians Congress. On March 26th, 2008, a grand launching ceremony will be held in Beijing. The first "Qiu Chengtong Middle School Mathematics Award" awarding ceremony is scheduled to be held in Beijing on 20081October 24th 10. Undergraduate admissions directors from famous universities such as Harvard University and Brown University will attend and interview some award-winning students.
