There are three ways to divide classes in junior high school:
The first is that the ratio of top students to poor students in each class is the same. This method refers to the last exam results and ranks them from high to low. The first one goes to Class A, the second one to Class B, the third one to Class C, the fourth one to Class A, five or six students not to Class BC, and so on.
The second is that the ratio of top students to poor students in each class is different. This classification method is also a reference score. From high score to low score, the top 50 students are in Class A, 50 students are in Class B, 100 students are in Class C, and 100 students are in Class C. This classification method is mainly used for college entrance examination.
The third type is S-shaped placement. The first place goes to Class A, the second to Class B, the third to Class C, the fourth to Class C, the fifth to Class B, the sixth to Class A, and so on.
