Wuhan No.11 Middle School is a key single high school. It was named as a provincial model school and an open school in Wuhan by the Hubei provincial government. There are eight centers in the campus, such as teaching, experiment, science and technology audio-visual education, art, network information, book reading and physical training. The establishment of two-way closed-circuit television teaching system and the networking of school computers have improved the level of teaching modernization.

Wuhan No.11 Middle School is located at No.211Chongren Road, Qiaokou District, Wuhan City, and was founded at 1954. It was one of the first middle schools founded by the Party and the government after liberation, and 1982 was designated as a key middle school in Wuhan. 1994 was first named as an advanced school with comprehensive running level by Wuhan municipal government. 1999 was named as a provincial model school by the Hubei provincial government.
