Mathematics is an important subject in primary schools. In order to improve the quality of mathematics teaching in our town, since I was in charge of mathematics teaching and research in the town, I have mainly done the following work:
First, strengthen theoretical study and improve the theoretical level of mathematics teachers.
To comprehensively improve the quality of mathematics teaching and promote educational reform, we must put theory first. To this end, in the work, in addition to requiring teachers to learn continuing education books by themselves, teachers are also organized to learn the new concept of curriculum standards. In addition, every time I go out to study, I report to the teachers, and burn the high-quality teaching CDs I brought back and distribute them to village schools, so as to realize the enjoyment of high-quality resources and improve the theoretical level of teachers in an all-round way.
Second, attach importance to classroom teaching and improve the efficiency of classroom teaching.
Classroom is the main position of quality education. Only by doing a good job in classroom teaching and improving students' mathematics quality can quality education be truly implemented. Take the central school as the leader and do a good job in school-based teaching and research in the whole town. Every semester, in addition to organizing village teachers to participate in the school-based teaching and research activities of the center, I also organize the backbone teachers of the center school to send them to the countryside. In the autumn semester of 2007, I personally sent a section of "Possibility" to Zhaidong Primary School. In the spring of 2008, a math review seminar was held for the graduating class, and the leadership of the graduating class was organized twice to give the graduating class graduation simulation questions. Welcome by the primary school teachers in the village; At the same time, it also organized backbone teachers to give lectures in the countryside for many times to improve the classroom teaching level of village-level teachers.
Third, pay attention to the cultivation of young backbone teachers.
The development of the discipline is inseparable from excellent strength. To this end, every semester, after we define the training objectives, we will implement the tasks and let them refine and grow in their work. In the autumn semester of 2007, in the school-based teaching and research activities of Silian Primary School, Mr. Qin Zihui gave a lesson on rectangular and square areas, which was affirmed by the teachers. In the spring semester of 2008, Teacher Fan Li 'e won the second prize in Xincheng County Mathematics Classroom Teaching Exhibition Competition.
Fourth, actively participate in education and scientific research to improve their own quality.
Ben is the main member of this course in the research of A43 sub-project "How to cultivate students' strategies and methods to solve problems". To this end, in the research of the project, I actively collected information, organized the theory of project members many times, took the initiative to undertake research classes and reports of project research, and actively wrote teaching papers, many of which won district and county awards.
