Many pioneers of the democratic revolution followed the idea of "abolishing the imperial examination, developing schools, cultivating talents and strengthening China" and pursued the modernization of China. At the critical moment of the country's destiny, it stems from the patriotic enthusiasm of intellectuals. Cai Yuanpei, the chief education officer of Nanjing government, listed "military national education" as People's Republic of China (PRC)'s educational policy, and implemented it throughout the country. It was under the oscillation of this thought that Guanyin Middle School was founded in 1942, when War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression was extremely difficult.
In the 30 years of the Republic of China (194 1), people of insight, such as rural sages, squires and soldiers, in the Houzhoujia, Guanyin and Shiqiao areas of Dazhushan, saw the devastation of the motherland and decided to set up educational undertakings to save the nation. After discussion and consultation, it was decided to build a private middle school with the former site of Guanyin Bridge Wenchang Pavilion and Guanwen Primary School as the school site. The opportunity to establish Gancheng Middle School is that Wang Yidao's son failed to enter Dazhu Middle School in the first grade of junior high school. This resentment encourages the ambition of people who have had similar experiences. Li Xiaoting, Zhou Zhijing and Meng Haoran, under the lobbying of Wang Yidao and Yan Jizu, contacted the gentry and soldiers behind Dazhushan to set up this school.
At first, we raised money through fundraising. After several months of hard work, we got more than 700 stones (about 400 acres) in the field. By the end of 1949, the preparatory work is basically ready, and the name of * * * Business School is "Dazhu County Private Gancheng Junior High School". The name of the school is The Book of Songs. School starts on January 16, and classes begin on 18. Courses include Chinese, mathematics, physics, culture, historical geography, citizenship, English, music, fine arts, physical education, children's training and so on. After the school was established, it was reported to the Education Department of Sichuan Provincial Government for approval, becoming one of the only 97 middle schools in the province at that time.
At the beginning of Gancheng Middle School, Wang Yidao and Li Xiaoting were members of the board of directors. Lai graduated from chengdu normal university and served as president of the National People's Congress for 33 years (1944). The faculty of the whole school put students' studies first and voluntarily gave up their salaries under extremely difficult conditions (the school only provides meals and no longer pays wages), so the school was retained.
1953 1, Dazhu County People's Government took over the private Gancheng Middle School, and the school was changed into a public school, and Luoxing Brigade was sent to handle the takeover work on behalf of the government. The Dazhu Department sent a study tour as the fifth vice president, and Shen succeeded as the teaching director.
