How to improve students' interest in learning by introducing mathematics to the sixth grade of primary school?
Liu Xinpo, Zhang Hongjian (Wujialou Primary School, Shiqiaozi Town, Zhucheng 262200)

Interest is the best teacher. Students are usually interested in learning a new subject. Because their attention time is short, they are easily distracted, and the classroom is the main place for students to learn, so in mathematics classroom teaching, teachers should focus on stimulating interest, and teachers must try their best to arouse students' interest. Let students love mathematics and integrate their passion into mathematics learning. Activate their thinking with interest, awaken their awareness of learning, and then fully mobilize their enthusiasm for learning and let them actively participate in teaching.

Keywords mathematics classroom to stimulate interest in learning

Because of the abstraction and rigor of mathematics, there are many stylized and symbolic things in mathematics, and the abstract thinking of primary school students is relatively poor. In addition, the close relationship between mathematics and life in textbooks is not very close, and some teachers have poor educational concepts, which leads to boring mathematics classroom teaching. When students' interest in learning rises, they will have a strong thirst for knowledge. Students are willing to learn, love learning, enjoy learning, and make use of it. Then, how to activate the classroom, make mathematics learning lively and promote students' self-development, I think we can start from the following aspects.

1. Create scenarios to stimulate students' interest in learning mathematics.

As the saying goes: "A good beginning is half the battle", it is very important to guide students to have a direct interest in learning related to the learning content and learning activities themselves, so that students will have a strong thirst for knowledge from the beginning of new courses. Pupils are very interested in stories. In classroom teaching, teachers can describe stories in vivid language, and induce students to stay in the stories and actively participate in teaching activities. First of all, the creation of situation can make the original abstract, logical and symbolic learning content vivid, intuitive and true, shorten the distance between time and space, remove learning obstacles, help students feel immersive and stimulate emotional resonance. Creating story situations can not only attract students' attention, but also enable students to acquire knowledge unconsciously. Pupils like talking, laughing, moving and playing. If this feature is ignored in teaching, it will inevitably make them feel tired and boring and will not achieve good results.

2. Simplify the complex and stimulate students' interest in learning mathematics.

Group cooperation can enable students to learn from others and learn from each other.

The classification and query of periodical articles are all in the periodical database. For example, when deducing the calculation formula of teaching circle area, first let students recall how to get the calculation formula of plane graphics they have learned before. Think about whether the circle can also be transformed into the previously learned figure, and deduce the formula for calculating the area of the circle. Then let the students explore independently in groups and cooperate and communicate; Finally, unified evaluation, supplement and improve the thinking methods of each group. During the whole activity, teachers activate students' knowledge accumulation, naturally use past experience to understand new problems, personally experience the contrast and change process of past experience, deeply shock the soul and feel the real changes and gains.

3. Respect individual differences and strengthen practical operation.

Hands-on operation is an important means to inspire students' thinking and stimulate their interest in learning, and it is an active learning activity. It has the characteristics of concrete image, easy to enhance interest, easy to establish representation and easy to understand knowledge. In teaching, I always try to make students consciously or unconsciously notice the staggered rhythm according to the content of teaching materials, so as to provide sufficient perceptual knowledge for abstract teaching activities and reduce the difficulty of thinking, thus making students interested in learning content.

Hands-on operation requires students to participate in activities with various senses, think with their brains, express in words, and solve problems independently and consciously. In short, it is to let students master abstract mathematics knowledge in pleasant operation activities, which not only develops students' thinking, but also improves students' interest in learning. For example, when teaching rotation and angle, I ask students to demonstrate themselves with a movable angle (wood or cardboard) prepared in advance: fix one side and rotate the other side. Observe various angles formed in the process of rotation, and then observe their characteristics, so as to understand various angles, let students experience the fun of success and enhance their interest in learning.

4. Set up consolidation exercises and homework correction links, introduce comments, and increase interest in mathematics learning.

Consolidating the practical stage is an important means to help students master new knowledge, form skills, develop intelligence and cultivate ability. In order to maintain a good learning state and improve students' interest in practice, I not only pay attention to the purpose, typicality, hierarchy and pertinence of practice, but also pay special attention to strengthening practice on the basis of consolidating new knowledge.

Usually, when correcting math homework, people are used to using simple "√" and "×" to evaluate learning thinking and academic performance, which affects the ideological and emotional communication between teachers and students and directly affects students' learning mood. Therefore, I will introduce comments into the correction of math homework, point out its shortcomings, affirm its achievements, mobilize students' enthusiasm for learning and improve their interest in learning.

Tolstoy said: "Successful teaching needs not coercion, but arousing students' interest". Therefore, teachers should adopt various methods in teaching to stimulate students' strong thirst for knowledge and fully mobilize students' enthusiasm and initiative in learning, which is the key to successful teaching. Only by stimulating students' interest in inquiry and their motivation to learn can students become the masters of learning. In short, we should adopt different teaching measures and design different teaching schemes according to different textbooks and students of different ages to stimulate students' interest.
