I. Guiding ideology
According to the requirements of the school plan, try to do the first 20% and the last 20% of the counseling work. According to increasing nutrition for gifted students, looking up for poor students, caring for three points, and making up for the results with the greatest patience and perseverance.
2. Analysis of reasons for differences
Look for the root causes and find out the reasons for learning difficulties;
1, students are highly mobile. Every semester, more than a dozen students come in and out, all of them are excellent students, and all of them are poor students. Because the students in this class come from more than ten provinces in the motherland, there are differences in regional culture and teaching materials, and most of these students are left-behind children at home or have poor grades in their hometown, and their parents brought them here.
2. Poor study habits: Students with learning difficulties usually don't have good study habits, lack interest in learning, and regard learning as a task assigned by their parents and teachers, because students are basically children of migrant workers, and their parents are busy with work and neglected management. In addition, they are generally fun-loving, inattentive in class, poor in self-control, more casual, do not attend classes, do not complete exercises, do not preview before class, do not review after class, can not finish their homework independently, and even often copy their tardy homework, and rarely ask others even if they have questions they don't understand.
3. Family factors. Because students are basically children of migrant workers, their parents have low education level and low expectations, and most of them lack counseling ability. Some parents' education methods for their children are simple and rude, and they lack patience (for example, classmate xx, careless in study, did not finish his homework in time, and the best way for parents is to fight rudely; Some lack education, love, indulge children, and even think that reading doesn't matter. Some said, "I can't study hard and live well." This greatly dampened the child's ambition. Some parents work outside the home for many years, and their children are left unattended at home ... In short, the bad cultural atmosphere in the family interferes with students' study and causes learning difficulties.
3. Effective measures to cultivate talents and supplement potential.
Use spare time to coach and improve students in various situations, "teach students in accordance with their aptitude and suit the remedy to the case", and adopt corresponding methods according to students' quality. The specific method is as follows:
1. In class, potential students perform, ordinary students correct, and excellent students solve problems.
2. When arranging seats, adhere to the principle of "deskmate" as a study pair. That is, "soldiers teach soldiers."
3. Classroom exercises are divided into three levels: the first level is the "required questions"-basic questions, the second level is the "selected questions"-medium questions, and the third level is the "thinking questions"-extended questions. Meet the needs of students at different levels.
4. Optimize lesson preparation, strive for quality in class for 40 minutes, and do a good job of cultivating excellent students and supplementing potential with the least necessary time and energy as much as possible. Prepare students, textbooks and exercises to ensure the effect of cultivating excellent students and making up for differences. Careful arrangement of exercises, exercise design attention: gradient, closely linked to key points, difficulties and doubts, facing most students, in line with students' cognitive laws, conducive to consolidating "double basics" and inspiring students' thinking; Exercise evaluation should increase the degree of informatization, highlight key points, guide students to pay close attention to it and help students learn to answer questions; Problem-solving exercises should be multi-angle, multi-solution, changeable and multi-solution, expand ideas, cultivate the flexibility of students' thinking, and cultivate the breadth and flexibility of students' thinking; Problem-solving training should pay attention to accuracy and choose typical questions with clever thinking, novelty, flexibility, representativeness and pertinence. Practice is not quantity but quality, and training should be diversified.
4. The goal of cultivating excellent students and the list of students' help: excellent first, then not excellent.
In short, in today's quality education, it is the top priority of a school's teaching work to train outstanding students and make up the difference. As teachers, we will continue to explore effective methods and experiences to make our work more effective.
