Starting from 20 16, the national volume of the new curriculum standard is divided into one volume, two volumes and three volumes. And starting from 20 16, the national volumes I, II and III were renamed as national volumes B, A and C respectively.

The college entrance examination is being reformed and there will be no division of arts and sciences. The first and second of the new college entrance examination is to implement 3? 3, that is, Chinese, English and mathematics are three unified examination subjects, and the other three will choose three from the traditional six courses such as politics and history. The new high examination paper is more difficult than the paper. Applicable provinces are places where the new college entrance examination has been implemented.

The new high test paper 1 is applicable to 7 provinces including Shandong, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Hebei and Fujian. The second test paper is applicable to Hainan, Liaoning and Chongqing.

In 2020, Shandong and Hainan entered the new college entrance examination (single subject volume), in which Shandong adopted the new college entrance examination volume I, Hainan adopted the new college entrance examination volume II, and Beijing and Tianjin also entered the new college entrance examination, making their own propositions, while Zhejiang and Shanghai took the lead in entering the new college entrance examination as the pilot of college entrance examination reform in 20 17, all of which were independent propositions.

The national B volume is more difficult than the A volume. The national second volume is suitable for some provinces with a large number of college entrance examinations, such as Anhui, Henan and Shanxi, and one volume is used in five provinces, such as Yunnan, Guangxi and Guizhou.

Volume A and Volume B of the College Entrance Examination are both national volumes of the previous college entrance examination. The previous national volume 1 and volume 2 were merged into volume A, and the previous volume 3 is now volume B. Of course, it is divided into arts and sciences, and volumes A and B are transitional volumes. With the advancement of the new college entrance examination, it will be gradually launched on the historical stage.
