After the preliminary round, 40% of the students with excellent grades will be selected by the participating institutions to participate in the rematch held in late April each year (students who won the third prize in mathematics competitions such as Hope Cup, Huabei Cup and Walking Beauty can directly enter the IMC rematch, and students who participated in the Hope Cup competition in that year and entered the rematch can also directly enter the IMC rematch), and the final will be held in July or August each year. There is no charge for the preliminary contest of IMC International Mathematics Competition, and the registration fee for the rematch is 50 yuan RMB/student. The final fee is determined according to the specific situation of overseas reception and flight arrangement every year, and is borne by qualified students themselves.
