The first volume of the fifth grade mathematics textbook published by People's Education Press has eight units. They are: decimal multiplication, position, decimal division, possibility, simple equation, polygon area, mathematical wide angle, general, * * * eight chapters.

1, unit 1: decimal multiplication, including decimal multiplication by integer, decimal multiplication by decimal, divisor of product, integer multiplication algorithm extended to decimal, solving problems.

2. Unit 2: Position, including determining the position of the object on the grid paper with digital pairs, and representing the position of the object in a specific scene with digital pairs.

3. Unit 3: Fractional division, including: fractional division with divisor as integer, division of a number by decimal, approximation of quotient, cyclic decimal, exploring laws and solving problems by computer.

4. Unit 4: Possibility, including: experience the certainty and uncertainty of events, list all possible results of simple experiments, and speculate according to the probability of random phenomena.

5. Unit 5: Simple equations, including expressing numbers with letters and solving simple equations.

6. Unit 6: Polygon area, including parallelogram, triangle, trapezoid, combined figure and problem solving.

7. Unit 7: Mathematical Wide Angle-Tree Planting Problem.
