The decimal point moves two places to the right. How much bigger is this figure than the original one?
① The new number obtained by shifting the decimal point two places to the right is 100 times of the original number. In other words, the new number is greater than the original number 100- 1=99 times.

② Using the formula of differential multiple problem in primary school mathematics to find the original number. Double quantity = difference ÷ multiple difference.

198÷( 100- 1)

= 198÷99

=2

So this number is 2.
