This semester, under the leadership of the principal's office, according to the work plan of the guidance office, focusing on paying attention to the classroom and improving the teaching quality, we will continue to change teachers' teaching behavior and students' learning methods, cultivate students' innovative consciousness and practical ability, carry out quality education in depth, and strive to improve the teaching quality of our school.
First, pay attention to the study of educational theory.
Educational theory guides educational practice in order to constantly update teachers' educational concepts and improve teachers' theoretical literacy. This semester, around the effective education proposed by the District Education Bureau, the Guidance Office continued to organize teachers to participate in a series of school-based trainings, made great efforts to update educational ideas and concepts, persisted in putting students' innovative spirit and practical ability into the whole process of classroom teaching, and strived to make classroom teaching education-oriented, educating people-oriented, deeply understand the essence of effective education, understand the position and role of teachers in classroom teaching, and raise awareness, which laid a good foundation for our school to strictly implement the requirements of quality education. Continue to learn, understand and master the new curriculum standards and related theories, continue to organize teachers to participate in continuing education and training activities in districts and schools at the beginning of the semester, further change the teaching concept of the whole school, actively explore and implement new teaching methods and learning methods that are compatible with the new curriculum standards, and comprehensively improve the professional level of education and teaching under the guidance of the new curriculum standards.
Second, strengthen the construction of teaching staff.
Strengthening the construction of teachers is the eternal theme of school construction. The key to implementing quality education is to improve the quality of teachers, and the key is to improve the quality of young teachers. Young teachers are the main force of the school, accounting for more than 80% in our school. In order to make young teachers adapt to their teaching posts as soon as possible, and gradually move towards standardization, so as to stand out from the crowd, the education department organized young teachers to seriously study theories, provided as many opportunities for young teachers to go out to attend lectures and study as possible, and enthusiastically set up a stage for young teachers to provide teaching practice research, so that nearly 40 young teachers could learn.
1. From the summary of last semester's evaluation, the guidance office reflects that most young teachers are still lacking in grasping and analyzing the teaching materials. They just teach step by step according to the teaching process designed by others, and they can't understand the original intention of the author in compiling the teaching materials, let alone what can't reflect the teacher's personality in the teaching process. Therefore, in April and May, the guidance office focused on organizing the teaching and research team leader to take a text and a knowledge point as an example, carefully compile the teaching plan, and lead the teachers in the group to actively participate. The teaching and research team leader conducted a lecture class throughout the school. Through this activity, teachers have basically established the educational concept of all-round development and active development for all students, initially carried out research on cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability, further improved the level of classroom teaching, abandoned the teaching concept of teachers teaching and students learning, gradually formed new, precise, lively and practical characteristics of classroom teaching, and at the same time, a number of outstanding young teachers have emerged.
In February and March, Bai Yang English Teaching and Research Group undertook the teaching and research activities of teaching material analysis, an English teacher in the whole region. At the beginning of the semester, the teacher participated in the provincial English teacher training, and Teacher Yang attached great importance to this learning opportunity. Under the guidance of the teacher, Mr. Yang made a wonderful teaching material analysis for the whole region, and also provided a good learning opportunity for English teachers in our school.
The discipline of "Teaching and Punishment" organizes all teachers to participate in the teaching and research activities of effective education researchers in Jingkou District. The demonstration class for teachers and researchers is an attempt to make classroom teaching effective, which gives us more or less enlightenment.
Three teachers, Sun Jing, Zhang Yun and Zhuang Yan, participated in the cross-strait composition teaching exchange seminar, and brought back a lot of composition teaching information, which they shared with all the teachers during the teaching and research activities.
3. In April, Mr. Ding Dongquan, the municipal teaching and research section, invited Director Zhuang Yan to teach a Chinese class in the municipal experimental primary school. The class carefully prepared by Director Zhuang participated in the inter-school networking activities in five cities on behalf of our school in Kunshan, and showed it to teachers in Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejiang, with good response.
This month, teachers Yu Yijing and Xie Chunfang were organized to participate in the deepening curriculum reform organized by Zhenjiang Teaching and Research Section, and effective education and learning activities were launched in an all-round way. Teacher Xie Chunfang participated in the first classroom teaching seminar of primary school mathematics textbooks published by Jiangsu Education Publishing House.
In April and May, the leader of the Chinese teaching and research group took the class and invited Mr. Zhang Lin to comment, so that teachers benefited a lot from the activity.
In May and June, the principal's office and the guidance office confirmed the candidates for the rookie cup Jingkou District Chinese teaching competition through lectures. Under the active contact of the principal's office, the guidance office invited teaching and research personnel to go deep into the classroom and give teachers pertinent opinions and appropriate guidance.
6. The teaching and research activities of young math teachers are carried out as scheduled every Monday afternoon, which is the stage for young math teachers to exercise. Under the careful care of Mr. Xu Boheng, the youth groups are becoming more and more mature.
7. The English teaching and research group has a strong teaching and research atmosphere. Under the guidance of Mr. Xu Meng, young English teachers have made rapid progress, especially three young teachers who have just taken up their posts, vying to attend research classes. In the process of teaching and research activities, the teachers of English group have been trained to varying degrees.
Third, strengthen daily management.
This semester, in the form of spot check, general survey and self-examination, every teacher is required to strictly implement the Five Cautions Rules, Basic Requirements for Preparing Lessons and Basic Requirements for Students' Homework and Teachers' Correcting Homework. The guidance office has strengthened the inspection of classes, standardized the "five details" management, made the rules and regulations orderly and rule-based, strengthened teachers' legal awareness, kept the teaching management in dynamic management all the time, and recorded the results of the assessment rules.
Teaching quality evaluation is an important part of teaching evaluation system, an important guarantee to improve students' cultural quality, and an effective means to test and evaluate teachers' teaching. Therefore, the teaching quality inspection was further strengthened this semester, and there were two large-scale inspections. The first time is the mid-term examination of Chinese, mathematics and English, and the second time is the final exam. Unified examination papers were used for both inspections, and invigilation and marking were arranged in a unified way. In view of the all-round development of students in quality education, the subjects of common sense and skills were standardized and strictly evaluated at the end of the year. In June, it also organized the oral calculation acceptance for the first and third grades, mainly to assess the oral calculation ability.
Fourth, pay attention to the all-round development of students.
Education is people-oriented. In order to further promote the implementation of the new curriculum in an all-round way and improve students' comprehensive quality, we should strengthen comprehensive practical activities on the basis of grasping students' knowledge learning, and bring the school-based course of "Creating and Enjoying Artistic Life" into class hours to provide enough time and space for students' all-round development and personality cultivation.
In order to better reflect the people-oriented thinking, let students' specialties be fully displayed and affirmed by the society. This semester, the guidance office organized some students to participate in a series of activities.
1. Some students participated in the series of activities "We Love Mathematics" organized by Jiangsu Primary School Mathematics Newspaper. In the fifth-grade mathematical thinking activity of Jiangsu Primary School Mathematics Newspaper, Lin Xinhao, a sixth-grade student, won the provincial third prize, while Wu, a fifth-grade student, won the provincial third prize.
2. Organize some students to participate in the poetry, cartoon and calligraphy competitions of the first philatelic art festival. Ma Xiao won the first prize in the primary school group, Yan Li and Wang Jie won the second prize, and Huo Liang won the third prize.

Carry out a series of activities to enter the scholarly campus, requiring each class to have a book corner, students to bring their own books to exchange reading, cultivate students' extensive reading interest, and pay attention to the accumulation of extracurricular reading knowledge. Make good use of the school reading room, increase students' reading volume, advocate doing less questions, reading more books, reading good books and books, and encourage students to choose their own reading materials.
7. Organize students to participate in the paper-cutting competition for primary school students in Jingkou District. Five students, including Li Zile and Wang Xinyi, won the first prize and five students won the second prize.
This semester, the guidance office basically completed the plan requirements formulated at the beginning of the semester, and did some work in improving teachers' professional level, enriching students' lives, promoting students' all-round development, and improving teaching quality, but there are still many shortcomings:
