According to the Buddhist scripture "The Great Brahma King asks the Buddha about doubts", when the Buddha spoke for the Great Brahma King on Lingjiu Mountain, he kept silent and stood with flowers in his hand. Only the venerable Mahakasyapa smiled through tears. Just when everyone was unknown, the Buddha passed it on to Mahayana Venerable in the form of "Buddha's enlightenment". The Buddha said, "I have a positive eye, a wonderful mind, no reality, subtle practice, no words, teaching others and instructing Mahayana", so Mahayana is the ancestor of western (Indian) Buddhism.
It is said that after 28 generations in India, Zen Buddhism spread to Master Dharma who came to China from the Western Heaven to promote the initiation of Buddhism. He is the first generation descendant of Zen Buddhism in China, the twenty-eighth ancestor of the Western Heaven.
Pure Land Sect is a sect of Buddhism, which spreads in China, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and other places. The practice method of pure land Sect is that practitioners practice Buddhism every day, and at the end of their lives, they will live in the western paradise under the mercy of Amitabha. This is a method of combining self-reliance with other forces.
Pure land is a general term, which can be divided into four types in order:
Pure land of continuous silence and light
Truthfully report the solemn soil
Convenient and rich in soil
Fansheng copper residence map
Among the four, it is subdivided into nine categories, and the competition is different; They are all born in pure land because of the different depths of Buddhist chanting. The taste is different from that of the upper and lower layers, but if it can be used continuously, it will naturally win. (Note: It's not the Buddha's infidelity, but the nature of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. Because the degree of sentient beings who died in the West was uneven, Amitabha divided these sentient beings into nine kinds according to their degrees and gave them different teaching methods.
After passing away to the pure land, since there are no three evil ways in Elysium, even if the evil deeds of all beings are not eliminated, there will be no more evil thoughts. Moreover, I can listen to Amitabha, Avalokitesvara and Megatrend Bodhisattva, which proves that I have no patience. Bodhisattva will return to the woman's world to help other sentient beings after learning. For example, Elysium is actually an institution of higher learning established by Amitabha in a foreign country, and all living beings can go to this institution for further study if they want. When you achieve something, you will go back to China to help build the country.
Because Pure Land Sect can be popularized by three people (people with upper, middle and lower roots) and it is easy to practice, all the great virtues who advocate Pure Land Sect distinguish it as "Yi Dao" to distinguish it from other methods of self-reliance practice (that is, "don't").
Tantra comes from India, where it is called Tantra. Tantric Buddhism was secretly handed down by religious teachers and disciples, which is different from Tantric Buddhism, but its system is related to its roots. In India, Tantric Buddhism has always been circulated in secret, and it has also been mixed with various religions to protect itself.
In Buddhism, Tantric Buddhism, also known as the mantra school of Dalagni, mantra school, yoga school, Vajrayana school, Pilu Jinnah school, Kaiyuan school, Micheng school and Micheng school, is a branch of Buddhism and originated from Vajrayana. The Polo Dynasty, which rose in East India in the 7th century, was introduced to China in the middle of the Tang Dynasty. In the 8th century A.D., the sum of Bodhi and King Kong came to China, which was called "the three outstanding men of Kaiyuan" in history. With the support of the royal family in the Tang Dynasty, three tantric masters founded the China tantric school. This inheritance is generally regarded as the Indian Dragon Tree Bodhisattva in China. Due to the close communication between China and Japan in the middle Tang Dynasty, tantric Buddhism was introduced to Japan. Different from Tibetan tantric religion, this system was later called eastern tantric religion, and it was mostly called Shinrikyo in Japan.
At the beginning of the 7th century, Tibetan King Songtsan Gampo, because of his strong national strength, longed for culture, so he proposed marriage and cultural import to China and Nepal at the same time. The cultural power of China and India was finally captured by India in Tibet, and Buddhism was introduced into Tibet by China and India at the same time. In the middle of the eighth century, Bonism once rose in Tibet, and there was a wave of anti-Buddhism. After Indian monks returned to India, they invited Master Lotus, a Tantric guru, to Tibet to convince Tibetans with magical powers, so Tantric Buddhism was introduced to Tibet. The inheritance of Master Lotus Peanut was later called Jiao Hong (Ningmaba), and its connotation was different from that of Dongmi, which was later called Tibetan Secret.
At the beginning of the tenth century, Tibetan Maba translators went to India to seek dharma, and learned the secret law from Indian tantric guru Naloba, and passed it on to countless Tibetans, including the famous guru Milarepa. The inheritance of this line in later generations is called Baijiao (Gajuba), and it is the first disciple of Milarepa, the reincarnated living Buddha in Tibet.
Tantric Buddhism, commonly known as Tantric Buddhism, is the most respected and profound mystery, so it is called secret and symmetrical with Tantric Buddhism; Tantric Buddhism believes that the teachings of the Buddha in the Buddha's day are the realm of Buddha's introspection, so it is not allowed to announce its teachings to those who are not enlightened.
