Mathematics Innovation-Mathematics Reading

? In the practice of following posts in Dong Xin 'an Street Primary School in Chanhe District, I have gained a lot from my study. The biggest gain is that I saw a new mathematical innovation model-mathematical reading.

When I first heard the term "math reading" from the lecture of teacher Shang Lihua, a researcher in Chanhe District, I was at a loss. I not only asked myself: math reading, what to read? How to read? After listening to Mr. Shang's lecture, I realized the meaning for the first time: math reading is to let students think hard, find math problems and find solutions when reading. For children, the content of mathematics reading goes far beyond reading textbooks, solving problems and mathematicians' stories, but should include all words, symbols, pictures, tables and so on containing mathematics knowledge, methods, thoughts and spirits. Mathematics reading is not only to let children learn mathematics knowledge, but also to integrate mathematics, science, humanities and art.

When reading mathematics, students can actively obtain information and learn knowledge through reading according to their existing knowledge and experience. In reading, teachers guide students to experience the process of "finding and asking questions" from reading complete story materials, with emphasis on how to cultivate students' ability of "analyzing and solving problems".

? Mathematics reading can be as flexible and diverse as Chinese reading.

It seems that reading should not only stay in Chinese learning, but also be reflected in the new mathematics education.

? When I was free at noon, I went to Baidu. It turns out that there are many books about math reading at home and abroad. For example, Professor Li Yupei, a famous popular science writer in China, used children's favorite fairy tales and stories to make abstract and boring mathematics knowledge simple and interesting, so that students can get in touch with mathematics and feel mathematics in interesting stories. His Math Story Album (including Math Fairy Tale Magic Digital Kingdom, Math Detective Story Detective Axe, Math Adventure Story Desert Island) has distinctive features and is deeply loved by children. There is also a children's writer, Yang, who is deeply loved by children. When she was in primary school, she produced a set of "Ma Xiaotiao Playing Mathematics", which was also liked by children. There are all kinds of picture books, which are really dazzling.

I learned what math reading is, watched a math reading class recommended by teacher Shang Lihua, and got a little understanding of how to take math reading class. In the afternoon, our study group began to discuss in groups, and everyone designed a math reading class to exchange learning.

? Look, how heated our discussion is!

? Two hours later, the creative math reading teaching plan was released! This is our first attempt to prepare a special math class for the first time, and then we deeply feel how incompetent we are!

I also prepared a math reading class in a hurry. I thought that the elementary school students who just entered the school had a weak sense of time, so I wanted to have a math reading class about time. When searching for picture books on the Internet, I saw a picture book called Clock in the Forest, and I finished my homework with this childlike picture book as the carrier.

Teaching Design of Clock in the Woods

Wang Xiaoqin Yichuan county experimental primary school

Activity objectives:

1. Understand the importance of time in daily life in listening and speaking picture books.

2. Being able to know clocks and watches, I will allocate time correctly according to the rotation law of clocks and watches, and experience the fun of activities.

Activity preparation: picture book PPT, homework materials, pen.

Activity flow:

First, read picture books.

1. Today the teacher brought a story. Let's see what this story is called.

2. Tell stories, PPT shows picture books

(A): Know clocks and watches

Teacher: Students, this clock is too important for small animals in the forest. Let's get to know this clock together! Hey, have you ever seen such a clock? Take a closer look. What's on the clock?

Students answer: Numbers, needles,

Teachers guide students to know clocks and watches: there are 12 numbers on clocks and watches, and the numbers are arranged clockwise from 1 to 12, with a space between each two numbers; There are two apical needles, a long needle and a short needle on the clock face.

Show the clock as a teaching aid, let the students push the long needle and observe the changes of the short needle.

(Continue to read the picture book)

Brother koala is responsible for pushing the clock used by small animals in the forest to arrange their work and rest. Brother Hank is in charge of the long needle and brother Peter is in charge of the short needle. When the long pointer rotates once, Peter pushes the short pointer forward one space, which represents one hour. But because my brother Peter was naughty, he forgot to go back and push the short needle at noon, so the little animals were too hungry to go to class. At the magic show at 6 pm, Peter forgot the time. He happily watched the magician conjure rabbits, kittens and other animals out of his hat, and finally saw his brother in a hat. "If you don't go back and push the short needle and let time pass, the magician will turn all the animals in the forest into light!"

(B): Know the time.

1: The teacher asked:

How do Hank and Peter work?

(2) Hank pushed it five times. How many squares did Peter advance?

(3) Peter forgot to push the short needle when playing ball. What happened to the forest school? How can we help him?

2. Talk about it in the group.

3. Students show, dial a wave with teaching AIDS to demonstrate.

Activity 1: My brother Hank pushed it five times. How many times should my brother advance? How far does the short needle go? What time is it now?

Activity 2: Two students play roles. My brother Hank and my brother Peter both walked from 1 1 to 12. Let the students observe that the long needle is a circle from beginning to end. What should my brother Peter do with a short needle at this moment?

? Through these two activities, the forest has been restored to its original appearance!

(3) Understand the whole time

1: Observe (show several clock faces in the picture book)

When observing 12 on the clock face, where does its long pointer point? Where does the short needle point?

When observing 1 1 on the clock face, where does its long pointer point? Where does the short needle point?

When observing 1 1 on the clock face, where does its long pointer point? Where does the short needle point?

2. Summary: When the long needle points to 12, the short needle points several times.

(4) Say: Will time affect our life?

Second: business activities

1: We have classes at 8 o'clock every day, finish school at 1 1 in the morning and rest at 9 o'clock in the evening. Can you indicate these times with the long and short hands on the clock face? Please draw a picture quickly! (Learning tool, clock face)

2. Patrol and guide by districts.

3. Submit a health report, which will be revised by teachers and students.

Three: summarize and reflect, how should we be punctual?

? This is my first attempt to design a teaching plan for math reading class. I'm not satisfied with my design either. Friend, I saw it, you can help me modify it! Please boldly put forward your valuable opinions!
