Guided by the "student-oriented" educational concept, the school has established the scientific research concept of "primary school research and big education", broken the limitation of thinking and implemented reforms. Based on the background of China's social environment, economic development, educational resources and international and domestic educational reform, combined with the actual situation of the school, a pattern of combination of off-campus teachers and experts, infiltration of academic groups and schools, communication between administrative departments and schools, and promotion between schools has been initially formed. At the same time, the school has continuously improved the management of scientific research, guided by the main subject of the school and combined with the small topics declared by teachers, so that the scientific research work is fully rolled out. The teaching department of the school regularly understands the progress of each subject, analyzes the problems that arise, and adopts the methods of discussion and inviting experts to guide in time to popularize the experience, so that the school education and scientific research can become a bridge between education and teaching theory and education and teaching practice.
200 1 we have combed and summarized the research results of the national key research topic in the ninth five-year plan-"curriculum experimental research on implementing the goal of quality education in primary schools in the new century" in the past seven years. The expert group spoke highly of the research results of this project and thought that "it provides an example for deepening the education and teaching reform, improving the quality of education and teaching, and comprehensively implementing quality education by relying on scientific research".
The research results of this topic in the Target System of Quality Education in Primary Schools and the Target Curriculum System of Quality Education were compiled and published as a book "Research on the Implementation Strategy of Quality Education Curriculum in Primary Schools", which won the third prize of 200 1 Provincial Excellent Achievements in Social Sciences and the second prize at the municipal level. The achievements of this subject in the evaluation of primary school students' quality development were compiled and published as a book "Research on the Evaluation of Primary School Students' Quality Development", which won the third prize of outstanding achievements in social science in 2003. 36 kinds of experimental teaching materials, such as nature, society, mathematics activities and English, have been selected by more than 200 primary schools in China and received rave reviews. In addition, more than 400 related research papers have been published or won prizes, and a large number of teachers' research courses and students' works have won prizes.

1. "Developmental" classroom teaching mode research. A general "developmental" classroom teaching model and a 15 special model for various disciplines are constructed to promote students' independent and active development, and a model system for comprehensively guiding teachers' classroom teaching is formed.

The research results of the developmental classroom teaching mode research project stage have been compiled into the Research and Application of Developmental Classroom Teaching published by People's Education Publishing House. The achievement of this project won the first prize in the 5th Excellent Achievements Appraisal of Education and Scientific Research in Suzhou.
3. The school conducted an experimental study on the trinity teaching mode of "fluency, exquisiteness and originality" for primary school students' composition thinking. The comparative analysis shows that the students' thinking in literacy, reading and composition in the experimental class has developed smoothly, delicately and innovatively. Teachers have deepened their understanding of the importance of thinking training in Chinese and other disciplines. In 2005, the project passed the conclusion appraisal of an expert group composed of well-known experts in the province.
4. The school has carried out an experimental study on the combination of schema and reading teaching, which has made remarkable progress and attracted the attention of relevant experts in East China Normal University.
5. The research and experiment of bilingual teaching have been carried out in an all-round way and achieved remarkable results. An experimental class of bilingual teaching was set up, and the school was named Suzhou Bilingual Teaching Experimental School.
6. The school conducted an experimental study on the integrated application of multimedia in mathematics classroom teaching. This experimental course won an award in the evaluation of national information technology integration course.
7. The research on mental health education in schools has made great progress. The school's mental health education research case first, the psychological education mailbox was established, and the evaluation standard of students' mental health and psychological consultation room were established. In 2006, the key research topic of the Tenth Five-Year Plan, "Research on Developmental Mental Health Education", was appraised by experts in the city and won favorable comments.
