What review materials should MBA buy?

The choice of review materials may be the most concerned issue for all students. Now all kinds of remedial classes, reference books are flying all over the sky, and advertisements are well done, but in fact, the quality of comparison is uneven, and the good and the bad are mixed.

My views on reference materials are the same as those of the remedial classes mentioned above, depending on my actual situation. Personally, I think it is not advisable to buy too many reference books, but they must be refined. Try to use commonly used and generally recognized reference books for previous students to review and prepare for the exam. After all, such books have stood the test of time, such as the Tsinghua edition.

First of all, the outline must be bought, what's more, sometimes the exam questions are copied directly from the outline, and more importantly, it is the direction of our review, which reduces our blindness. Of course, some people pointed out that the publication time was too late (perhaps the money was too expensive).

Secondly, introduce my book purchase. I was crazy about buying books at that time. After all, no one had introduced it too much before, and I didn't know which books were good or bad, so I bought one when I saw one, which was not too expensive anyway (relative tuition: -j), so I asked my friends to buy it in Beijing and send it back. Of course, it also has the advantage that there are too many things you haven't seen, so you can try to finish them in a hurry. For example, when I finally saw so many management problems, I didn't do them, so I went crazy. Maybe it should have some effect

Finally, I recommend and evaluate some books by subject, which is purely personal.

Math: Of all the tutoring materials, it should be said that Tsinghua is the best. There are too many errors in version 200 1 NPC; The miracle of 300 points is almost chaotic, and netizens have denounced errata; I hope they will improve in 2002. Tsinghua has few mistakes and moderate difficulty, and has a certain amount of questions for hands-on use. I bought two books in 2000 and 200 1, but it was too late.

Other books have their own advantages and disadvantages in some aspects: in elementary mathematics, Peking University writes better; In higher mathematics, the Scientific Literature Publishing House is good; Linear algebra and probability theory, miracle 300 points is ok. The National People's Congress published this book long ago, and it was written according to the latest outline. When people have no books to read, they can buy them first (God bless it for correcting most mistakes this year). As we all know, the syllabus is too difficult, and it is even more difficult to get more than 80 points by it. However, the outline is not without its merits. As mentioned above, if you pay attention to the function of 200 1 the last math problem, you will know that the function problem is wrong and there are many unnecessary speculations.

Of course, the name Chen Wendeng and his books have to be mentioned here. He also published an MBA tutorial last year, but I didn't buy it, mainly because it was too late. Later, he said that many of them were not written according to the outline, and it was not as good as the postgraduate entrance examination he wrote.

I finished reading Chen Wendeng's three or four review instructions for the postgraduate entrance examination, and read half of another book "Problem Set" written by him and Mr. Huang Xiankai. These two books are quite difficult. Before reading the previous book, reading his book will hurt your confidence. However, after reading his book, I think you can stand on the 90-point line.

Mathematical simulation, it should be said that the 20 sets of Dongfang Longfei (published by Intellectual Property Publishing House) are good, with a certain gradient and level, which others dare not compliment, and the level is average, especially the mathematics of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Publishing House, which makes people feel puzzling. The math "Sprint" by Science Literature Publishing House is not very good either (once again, it is purely personal)!

L 1: Because of the time, I didn't buy any counseling books except several sets of simulation questions. Here I only introduce the simulation questions.

I mainly bought Tsinghua Edition, Dongfang Longfei, Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Publishing House and Scientific Literature Publishing House. Among them, the first three are ok, and the Tsinghua version is slightly simpler; Oriental flying dragon is less difficult, especially in reading comprehension; It is said that Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Publishing House is a little more difficult (I didn't do it); Sprint by Science Literature Publishing House is basically not based on MBA to prepare simulation questions. After reading the first few sets, I immediately gave up and threw them into the trash can. It's hard to say anything else, otherwise people who have passed the exam for more than 80 will take bricks to K me.

Management: 200 1 The most common complaint of candidates is management. It can be said that the questions (especially multiple-choice questions) appearing in the test paper are basically not available in the market (at least after I have finished more than 50 sets of questions). So in a sense, it is meaningless to discuss counseling books here.

Let's talk about it The exercises attached at the end of each chapter of World Knowledge Publishing House are quite good, although some are beyond the outline; The management of Peking University is not bad, but it's a pity that we didn't find much time before the exam, and it's too late to regret it. Its advantage is that you can talk about many things that are not on the syllabus, but what you need when you do the topic; I didn't buy the Tsinghua version, so it's not good to comment; I have read miracles, people's congresses and scientific documents several times, but in retrospect, I feel that I have gained nothing except wasting time. Perhaps, in the final analysis, it is still an outline. I've read it, read it thoroughly, and chewed it. Other counseling books are purely for this purpose, I think.

Finally, I have to mention Robbins' management in America. I think everyone who got high marks in previous years mentioned this big book. I bought it too, or I entrusted it to Beijing. Speaking of it, personally, the significance of its harvest this year may not be as strong as in previous years. Of course, it should also serve the purpose of the last sentence of the previous paragraph. It doesn't need to be too deep I ate and watched. I didn't buy any management books from Cüneyt, so I don't comment. I think I'd better throw you other management textbooks and come back when you have time to study management.

What about the simulation questions? As mentioned above, I don't think it is valuable now, if there is no large-scale rewriting of counseling books and simulation questions this year. In my opinion, if the simulation questions have some meaning besides short answers, other multiple-choice questions will not have much meaning. Of course, it is very helpful to analyze the writing of the answers to the analysis questions. Pay attention to writing. Naturally, the analysis questions that are not written in the simulation questions are of little value.

Logic: China people, I have no right to speak. After all, I only watched it for two hours. Although there are many counseling books, I naturally didn't read them.

Perhaps, as the former schoolmates said, it is not because of the precipitation of Chinese for at least 20 years that you have made great progress in a few months (except for a few). Of course, personal feelings are mainly composition. The success or failure of Chinese lies in composition. I may write a lot of materials at ordinary times, but I feel that my composition is ok. Other Chinese questions, such as the first 5 points and the choice of ancient classical Chinese, I think I can get one point because a blind cat meets a dead mouse:-)

Logic, I can talk about it. First of all, find a reference book (it's almost the same here), read the logical content carefully (except those with logical talent), do the exercises attached to it according to the chapters, ask questions to classmates or teachers or surf the Internet. When several key contents in logic (such as the relationship between necessity and necessity, etc. ) It is clear that you can do crazy exercises and strengthen your understanding and application of MBA logic. Try to find counseling books with detailed analysis answers in the exercises, personally recommend the logic of Oriental Dragon, and of course, people who have time can also buy the latest GMAT to see the logic.

My final feeling about the above counseling books and simulation questions is that if possible, it is best to read the books again; If possible, you'd better do more simulation questions.
