What is the reason why children are not good at math?
There are generally three reasons for poor mathematics: lack of mathematical talent, lack of mathematical thinking and lack of mastery of methods.

1. No math talent.

Learning mathematics also requires talent. In fact, it takes a certain talent to learn anything. I am poor in physics, but I know nothing about Chinese, so I think it has something to do with talent. I can't learn math well without talent.

2. Lack of mathematical thinking

Mathematical thinking is very important. If you lack corresponding thinking, you may not understand the teacher's lecture and don't know how to solve the problem, because there is no thinking at all. Therefore, if you lack mathematical thinking, you may not be able to learn mathematics and your grades will naturally be poor.

3. Not mastering the method

To learn any knowledge, you need to master the method that suits you. Mastering the method will be handy and get twice the result with half the effort. Math needs to find a way, because with skills, you can draw inferences from others. If there is no method that suits you, you can't extrapolate.
