In order to stimulate students' interest in learning mathematics, cultivate students' ability to learn and apply mathematics knowledge, and show students' achievements in mathematics learning, our mathematics group organized a school-wide mathematics knowledge competition last Wednesday afternoon. The main purpose is to meet the mid-term exam, do a good job in math review and test students' mastery of knowledge, flexible use of knowledge and logical thinking ability. The test paper of this competition is crossed by the math group teacher. Judging from the overall questions, they are all in line with the content of the textbook. According to the analysis of the specific situation of each grade, in general,
Judging from the difficulty of the test paper, the test paper of this competition is relatively simple and the number of questions is not particularly large. Mastering the foundation is also one of the key points. Therefore, in the examination paper, the basic questions are more suitable in quantity and type, and I think the basic things are the most important. I think the test paper of this competition is very simple. Every student should pass or above, at least every student should pass. But the test results are not ideal, especially in grades five and six. All the students in these grades have to refuel, and more than half of them failed, which surprised us. The junior grades in this competition are better. I think for those students who fail, the most important thing is that they don't have a good grasp of basic knowledge and poor computing ability. Teaching still needs to grasp the foundation, and the foundation is the key. In terms of students' completion of examination papers, generally speaking, the results are not very satisfactory for the following reasons:
1. Some students have a bad learning attitude and don't consolidate what they have learned after class and on weekends.
2. The basic knowledge is not solid enough. In this competition, many students got the formula right but miscalculated the final result, which is also an important reason for losing points.
3, lack of logical thinking ability, for the questions that have not been touched, there is no good thinking, leading to mistakes. Through this competition, we should do the following in future teaching:
1, strengthen the teaching of basic knowledge and consolidate every knowledge point in the usual teaching.
2. Increase the amount of practice and broaden students' horizons.
3. Cultivate logical thinking ability and strengthen the guidance of learning methods.
In a word, a large number of outstanding mathematical talents emerged in this competition. I hope you will continue to work hard and strive for better results in the final exam.
Chapter two: Overview of primary school mathematics competition.
In order to stimulate students' interest in learning mathematics, cultivate students' ability to learn and apply mathematics knowledge, and show students' achievements in mathematics learning, last Friday afternoon (that is, 201213), we organized a mathematics knowledge contest for grades five and six. The main purpose is to meet the final exam, do a good math review and test students' mastery of knowledge, flexible use of knowledge and logical thinking ability.
The participants in this activity are students from Class Five and Class Six. Each class chooses 4 students to form a team, and * * * has 7 teams to participate. The topics of this competition are carefully selected and prepared by the math teachers in grades five and six. There are three links in this competition, namely, group required questions, group scrambled questions and risk questions, and each player answers according to different questions; Stand up when you answer a question, and say "Answer finished" after you answer it. Do not answer for more than 60 seconds. After the game, it will be ranked according to the scores. If there is a tie, add a risk question to determine the ranking.
During the activity, the players played a team spirit, expanded their thinking, tried their best to show their abilities and won bursts of applause. In this competition, we used projection instruments instead of the traditional manual copying and pasting of paper strips, which made the competition process more convenient and concise, the topic clearer and the field of vision broader. Moreover, if the player's answer is incorrect, he can let his classmates in the same grade answer, and there will be a commemorative prize if he answers correctly. The students are very enthusiastic and appreciate the fun of the competition, so there is constant applause and laughter at the competition.
After three rounds of intense competition, a final was added. Class two in five years and class two in six years won the first place in each grade group, class three in six years won the second place, class one in five years and class four in three years won the third place.
This competition provides a stage for students to show their elegance, arouses students' strong interest in mathematics, and strives to make teaching and research activities truly become a platform for teachers and students to "make progress together and improve together".
