Speech at the parents' meeting of the composition training class

Dear parents:

(used when meeting at night) Good evening.

Today is a rare opportunity for us to get together. First of all, thank you for taking the time to attend this parent-teacher conference. This is your love for children and your support and help for our teacher's work. The purpose of this parent-teacher meeting is to strengthen the contact between teachers and parents, exchange information about students at school and at home, so as to adjust their work in time, improve the quality of education and teaching, and encourage parents to actively participate in the education management of students. In a word, that is "all for children, all for children!" "This is a fundamental starting point of our education. I hope and believe that from this starting point, our parents' meeting will be able to achieve the expected results and achieve complete success!

Let me introduce myself first. Although I have been a children's teacher for a long time, some parents may not have met me. I always say this every time I introduce myself to my children in class. I said, classmates, the teacher's surname is the same as the cleverest and weirdest figure in Journey to the West. At this moment, someone said, the Monkey King, I went on to ask, what will you call me in the future? They will say Mr. Sun. Once, a student loudly said that we called you Mr. Monkey King, and the whole class burst into laughter. I told the children that the teacher didn't have the Monkey King's ability to walk on clouds, but Mr. Sun had 72 skills, that is, he could conjure up different games for everyone to play in class, which would make everyone feel that learning composition was a happy thing! Indeed, in my class, interest is always the first. No one says that "interest is the best teacher", and forced learning is always inefficient. Cut the gossip and get straight to today's topic. Let me briefly introduce these four courses. Since I took over these four classes, I have seen the progress of my children and kept it in my heart.

I divide these four classes into old classes and new classes. Let's talk about the old class, which is the long class. The students in these two classes are the first classes I took over in the small street lamp school. For this class, it can be said that all the teachers have devoted their efforts. There are not many students in this class, but they are all concerned about little Jayden's future. We dare not neglect our teaching work. It is because of hard work and strong support from parents that the children in the old class have made great progress. The content of the article is more substantial than before, and the language is smoother and more literary. Especially in the National Composition Competition of Small Orange Lamp Cup held some time ago, it won the first prize and the second prize, and students such as Liu, Liu and Liu won the Excellence Award. Winning the prize is not only an encouragement to the children, but also an affirmation of our teaching work.

I also brought two classes, Diary I and Diary II to freshman class. Having a class experience, I feel much more relaxed now. However, I dare not take it lightly. Although the number of small orange lanterns is increasing now, the future of small orange lanterns will also be affected if these children are not taken good care of. Now that the course is halfway through, I think parents should have seen the effect. Here, I think I should apologize to my parents first, because time is too tight and I don't have much time to communicate with my parents. Maybe you don't know much about children's performance at school. Is there any progress? How much progress has it made? Parents who have such doubts can look at the articles written by their children at the first time. These children came, there were almost no paragraphs, and they couldn't write the beginning and the end. Now, you can go home and ask your children, aren't they afraid of writing? Do you think the composition is simple? It doesn't count if I say it, nor does it count if my parents say it. I think children have the most say. Ask the children to write a composition summary when they know that there will be a parent-teacher meeting. What do some children ask me? I said, why not just write your feelings? Do you think writing is easy now? When they told me in a loud and neat voice that it was simple, I think I was still comforted.

Through my work some time ago, I found that children's progress is mainly concentrated in these aspects:

(1) The content of the article is more substantial and the language is more literary than before.

Liu and two students, in particular, have wonderful compositions and strong language skills. Maybe if I say this, parents will have doubts? Brag, a child, how good can the article be written? Ok, next, I'll read you an article. Guess which grade it was written in. There are not many words, only 300 words. Dong's summer. Parents guess which grade this is written. Dong, a freshman. Isn't it a surprise? Should I quote ancient poems in my freshman year? Did the teacher change it? Are Dong's parents there? Go home and see if that's what the child's exercise book says. In addition, the little orange lamp school has prepared the children's first and present articles, so parents can take a rest and have a look.

(2) Being more active in class and thinking more actively.

Mainly Eric, Wang Benin, Zhao Zihao, Li, Lu Yu, Jiang Yaodong, etc. I believe these children are very active in school classes, but here they are more active. Every time I ask a question in class, I raise my hand to my face and ask him, with a loud voice and confidence. Not only that, everyone's thinking is very active. I asked a question, and they can give more than ten answers. It's amazing! The classroom atmosphere in the class was all mobilized by them. I didn't give them too many constraints, and of course I won't say, why did you come down? Go back and sit down. In class, I always keep my children at an exciting point, arouse their enthusiasm and make them more interested in writing.

(3) More confident than before.

When I first came, I didn't dare to raise my hand until I was encouraged to answer questions. Children are becoming more and more confident. Chen Jiyuan, Chen Kasi, Li Xiao, Jacky and many other children were too timid to answer questions when they first arrived. Sometimes they want to answer a simple question, but they dare not raise their hands and show a small hand under the table. Up to now, parents feel that their children are timid and can go to the classroom to see their children. Everyone held their hands high, and they were afraid that I couldn't see them.

(4) I feel that the composition is simpler and the number of words is much more than before.

I used to be afraid when I saw the composition, and I racked my brains to think about a hundred words for a long time. Now I can use my composition book to think for a while and then write my composition. At present, the children in my first grade class are basically more than 200 words at a time and can write more than 300 words. Zheng Jinyu is a sophomore. When he first came, he could only write about 100 words. Now he basically writes about 400 words. He wrote 700 words at most. Although the number of words in the examination room is specified, there is no need to write so many words, but the child can write it, which shows that he still has a little ink in his stomach.

(5) Have a strong interest in composition and be willing to come to the composition class.

I don't know how many children in our class are forced to come to the composition class. There must be such a situation. Eric's mother and Zhang Shuo's mother both mentioned the same question: What methods can we use to make our children like composition classes and small orange lanterns? In fact, there is really no special way to arouse children's interest. This is easier said than done. We really put a lot of effort into classroom teaching, which is why children like to write in composition class.

(6) Be more responsible and polite than before.

When sending small orange lanterns to children, careful parents will surely find that children will greet their teachers as soon as they meet. Here, children have special responsibilities, such as who turned off the air conditioner and whether there were any things left in the desk hole when they left. Jiang Yaodong did a good job in this one. These are all the requirements of the teacher. No matter when, learning composition well is always secondary. Let children become more responsible, more polite and learn something useful to life. This is the most important thing.
