Speech comprehension and expression mainly examines candidates' ability to understand and summarize words, including specific topics such as choosing words to fill in the blanks, sentence sequencing, and fragment reading.

Data analysis mainly examines the examinee's ability to understand, analyze and calculate the given statistical data. Usually one statistical material corresponds to five small questions. The national examination generally tests 3 materials *** 15 questions, and the provincial examination looks at specific provinces.

Judgment reasoning mainly examines candidates' logical analysis ability, including defining judgment, graphic reasoning, 10 analogical reasoning, logical judgment and other specific topics. Individual provinces such as Guangdong and Shanghai will also investigate scientific reasoning topics, mainly the knowledge of physical chemistry and biogeography in middle schools.
