What's wrong with this question? Mathematical probability theory of postgraduate entrance examination
The probability that each library has books and no books is 1/2.

The probability of having a book is1/2+1/2+1/2 =1.5.

Obviously, they do not constitute a full probability event! It can't be calculated by full probability formula.

If it is changed to one library 1/3, two libraries 1/6 and three libraries 1/2, then they constitute a full probability event. (Add up to 1)
